Does Mobile POS work standalone or only with desktop?
Both. Use it standalone, or as a terminal alongside Desktop POS. Handy for terrace orders that arrive on the desktop for processing.
What happens if wifi goes down?
Terminals work via wifi and can also connect via mobile internet (SIM). Some models support dual SIM, so you depend less on a single network.
Can I work outdoors, for example on the terrace?
Yes. Mobile POS is built for floor and terrace. We still recommend a suitable case or stand for intensive outdoor use or rain risk.
SoftPOS or real pin: what is the difference?
With SoftPOS customers pay via NFC on phone or tablet: fast and low-barrier. Credit cards are not supported with SoftPOS; for that you need a model with a real pin terminal.
Do I need a receipt printer?
Not necessarily. There are models with and without a built-in printer. Paperless also works: the customer receives a PDF invoice by email.
Can I use multiple devices at once?
Yes. Deploy multiple Mobile POS units per staff member or for peak hours. Everything stays linked to the same central environment.
How does the cost model work for Mobile POS?
Used standalone (without Desktop POS)? You pay no monthly subscription fee (€0/month). Only a small fee per card transaction. Don't use it for a month? It costs you nothing.
